Kate Ford is the Founder and Creative Director of the Australian women’s ready-to-wear brand KATE FORD. She is a Sydney-based designer, mother, and wife.

Raised in a small country town on the outskirts of Sydney, Kate was shaped by a world of nature, beauty, and community. Her career began within prominent Australian design houses, where she rose through the industry while forming the creative perspective that would one day become her own, also sharing her experience along the way through teaching and industry speaking.

Travel has always been a defining part of her life. The places she has wandered, the cultures she has immersed herself in, and the moments that have stayed with her have shaped not only how she designs, but how she sees the world.

Much of what Kate creates begins with something deeply personal — a place she has been, a feeling she has experienced, or a moment she has held onto.
