I am Kate Ford, Founder and Creative Director of the Australian Women’s Ready-To-Wear brand KATE FORD. I am a Sydney based designer, mother and wife. I grew up in the small country town of Camden, South West of Sydney where I completed my schooling, then shortly after enrolled in a Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design at the prestigious Whitehouse Institute of Design in Surry Hills, Sydney.

Since graduation, I have risen through the ranks of numerous prominent Australian design houses, gaining rigorous training, invaluable experiences and countless passport stamps, all of which have shaped the essence of KATE FORD and what the brand represents today.

A lot of our KATE FORD designs are inspired by countries, places or a specific moment in my life that holds a special place in my heart. This is reflected through the prints, colours, trims and strong shapes we choose season after season.
